Previously Alligator Ale.

Refreshing Golden Ale with a wonderful hoppy nose from Cascade hops. Light, fresh and crisp with floral hop notes. A real thirst quencher that’s popular with both lager & ale drinkers.

Cask handpull at the Prince of Wales, Farnborough, Hampshire. Golden ale, with a small white head. No carbonation. Citrus lemon, hoppy aroma that was a little unpleasant. Touch of honey comes through. Bitter finish. Somewhat disappointing.

Hand-pulled pint in ’The Wrekin’, a good real ale pub near me in Wellington, Shropshire: 8th June 2013. Light golden citrus hop brew: refreshing but too simular to the host of golden brews using American (and sometimes New Zealand hops) hops that are flooding the UK market at the moment. Looked and tasted OK but I like a bit of darkness in my beers.

Bottle at home on a sunny afternoon, 19th August 2012. Aroma is non descript, pours a nice light gold straw colour, palate is a little fizzy for my taste. Taste is very pleasant though, pineapple and peach comes though, you get the nice balanced hops and bitterness. A beer I would have again potentially

Cask at the Old Fountain. Clear, rich gold pour with a foamy, white head. Aroma holds some nice hops, bit of pine and orange. Medium sweet flavor, some honey and bread, floral and juicy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, ideal carbonation. Balanced finish, light bready malts and lingering pine and citrus hops. Very good beer.

Very low carbonation, almost flat. Typical grapefruity bitterness but with a watery finish. Nothing much APA here. Dissapointing!

Cask at the Cask Pub & Kitchen on 15th January 2010. Copper colour with very little head. Sharp hoppiness rounded by quite sweet notes of caramel and malt. Citric hop kick then bittersweet finish on a flat, somewhat watery mouthfeel.

Cask-conditioned at the Crosse Keys (JDW), London 14/01/10. Golden in colour with a decent, lacy white head. Grassy hop aroma, with some sweetish malts and citrus fruit. Flavour of biscuit malts, more fruit and a lingering, hoppy finish. Very good.

Bottled at RBESG 2008. An unclear golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet and rather hoppy lending it notes of grass and elderberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and elder berries. The body is light.
