So so. Some decent citrusy notes but it’s overtaken by an oddly bitter, astringent finish. Low drinkability.

Cask at Archibald Simpsons, Aberdeen. It pours clear ever so slightly hazed golden - yellow with a decent fluffy white cap. The aroma is green, straw, fragrant , floral, honey cake, melon, greengage and a twist of citrus. The taste is firmly dry, decent snap of bitterness, pithy, zesty, zingy citrus, kinda green, white grape, gooseberry, floral, soapy, peppery spice and some biscuit in the malt base. Finish has some legs and is rather bitter. Light to medium body and soft, fluffy cask carbonation. A pretty punchy number flavor vs abv. Enjoyable.

Beer Number 13 at the Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2025, leaving 15 of 30 still untried. Mildly hazy, easy drinking texture, quite hoppy, some settled fruit available in both aroma and taste.

Cask handpull at Hamilton Hall Liverpool Street. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Good condition. Good citrus hops. Tastes like any number of Oakham golden beers. Some bitterness on the finish. It's got some ok citrus. Some sherbet hop. Cracking condition.
