This gose is brewed with coriander, lemongrass and a hint of smoked salt. The result is a slightly salted, lightly sour beer with herbal notes that takes us out of Winter and into Spring. Our unique Goosetown Gose will quench your thirst and leave you wanting another.
There was once an Akron neighborhood that no longer exists which was surrounded by oat mills, rubber factories, and where the smell of beer brewing from Burkhardt Brewery was the next street over. Goosetown was located around where the current post office is on Wolf Ledges. This old block of streets was occupied almost exclusively by German immigrants for nearly a century until the early 1960s when the interstate cut right through Goosetown.
