Bottle. Looking really good in the glass, with a black body under a nice tan head. Sweetish, roasted, dusty and fruity on the nose, in a strange way. Not sure what causes it, but strange it is. The flavor has some sweetness and a chemical note, along with coffee and burnt flavor. Long, burnt finish. Full-bodied and quite dry. The beer is far from world class, but it’s sure drinkable. Black with a lasting brown head (on of the darkest foams I have seen). Coffee and licorice in a very dark aroma. Sweet with burnt and roast flavours, including the charcoal feel. Thin, burnt aftertaste. Needs some filling between the roast and the sweet impression.

Bottle. Clear dark black color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, and dry coffe dusty finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. It is super good the first one or two sips but it is hard to drink a bottle off, it gets a little to coffee dusty. (010408)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of BelJohansen. Pours completely opaque black with a dense, light brown head. Very burned, ashy aroma. Quite full-bodied with plenty of burned malts, coffee, licorice and a hint of vanilla. Has an ashy edge. Rather burned, malt bitter finish. Very solid. Great to see Kvajj finally showing some skills. 040408

50 cL bottle. Pours pitch black with a lacing brown head. Light roasted and chocolate malt aroma. Flavour is roasted malt with a light and smooth chocolate note. Nice lingering roasted malt and chocolate finish. Light hoppy bitterness and also from the roasted malt comes a bitterness. Light acidity into the finish.
