Bottle, gift from Mum. Hazy, golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of peach, herbs and earth. Flavour of earth, honey and pear. Thin body with a slick texture. Light fizz. A solid, reliable beer.

Tall brown 500ml bottle: best before 31 Oct 2012, poured into my Abbot Ale glass tankard early Mar 2012. Pale amber, light copper in colour, bright and clean looking. The head looked good for 20 seconds, it then started to shrink and within a minute it has retreated to a collar and wispy covering: pity. The aroma was a heady mix of yeasts and hops with a mild malty undertone. The taste leans towards hops, especially initially. The malted wheat and barley appear mid-mouthfull, preventing the hop bitterness completely taking over the flavours. Different and pleasant.

Bottle. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Orange fruit and caramel aroma. Flavour of sweet biscuit malts, summer fruits and grassy hops leading to a short, bitter finish. Ok, but not memorable.

bottle, from a qine merchant in Seaton/Devon with an exquisite selection of ales. Hazy golden yellow, medium-sized head. Very fruity nose. Full-bodied, very fruity (orange zest, bitter orange) with some lovely bitter and aromatic hops. A pleasure to drink.

Bottle, thanks pivnizub. Big citrus hop aroma. Hazy amber, off-white head. Fairly thin bisquit malt base, a hint of napkin, covered by a good bortion citrussy and light earthy hop notes. Dry quick finish, light metallic retronasal. Light, a bit fizzy body. Fresh summer-ale.

(bottle) My sample is fairly hazy (has been carried today), orange-golden colour with a short creamy, slightly off-white layer. Slightly sweet, lemony and slightly piney hops aroma. Bitter flavour with slight sweet edges, light bodied but not too slim nor watery; smooth carbonation. Soft cara-malty taste, subtle fruity (lemon) with a good dash of fruity and resiny hops. Dry and bitter, slim but nevertheless quite lasting hoppy finish with a lemony aftertaste and traces of caramel-malty sweetness. Decent and tasty light Ale.
