[I'm not 100% sure, that this was the beer I had. At ZBF I had an Echt Kriekenbier from Paileman - but according to the program it says nothing about Uitzet and it was 7.5% ABV] An unclear dark red with a fine but very fast disappearing head. The aroma is lovely sour cherries with notes of wood. The flavor is fresh cherries with the carbonation running over the tongue on a nice wild fermented acidic background. It has notes of dry wood and cherries and a butter like aftertaste.

Pinkish, fizzy head, which is fairly lacinf and fully diminishing. Red murky body. Sour cherry aroma (Girardin-like). Lightly acidic, lightly bitter initial flavour. Heavily acidic, moderately bitter long finish. Watery texture, fizzy mouthfeel.

Looks decent, purple/pink with a slight pinkish head - the smell and taste is all sour, sour, sour - dry and earthy - can't taste any cherries at all - their tripel is much, much better.
