500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 7.4%. Deep golden colour, big white head. Nice aroma of caramel, toffee and butterscotch, hints of Danish bakery and marmalade. The flavour is fairly sweet and malty with loads of caramel, alcohol is noticeable but not really disturbing. Very moderate (too moderate) hops.

Bottle from Fotex, Copenhagen. Amber russet clear, thin beige head. Toffee caramel with some sweet fruit. Not a huge aroma. Alcohol is a bit obvious. some nice crystallised fruit on finish. A little unattractive/musty on first flavour. Some nice hard clear toffee flavour.

(33cl bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Clear, copper colour with a mid-sized light-beige frothy head. Sweet toast-malty nose with a nutty touch, caramel, marzipan and alcohol. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a moderate, almost crispy carbonation. Toast-malty taste with caramel and subtle fruity elements; sweet malty finish with a light, but balancing bitterness and traces of alcohol, that cannot be hidden. Not a highlight but also a fairly warming brew (12.08.08).

overall this one reminded me of any other macro strong beer, not very distinct, alc. could be tasted. some sweet tones to the rather industrial flavor. The bottle i had, was with ABV 7.4% according to label.

Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, lacy and stable foamy layer; sweetish-grainy, also a bit nutty-honeyish nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; grainy and vinous finish with a faint hoppy touch. Not bad, drinkable............

Bottle. Pretty unimpressive effort this one. Overbearing in terms of ABV, and a little flat in terms fo flavour.
