Super Kitty is our single most requested seasonal brew that we make. It is essentially our traditional I.P.A. Hurricane Kitty, just on steroids. It is brewed with local honey cultivated on our premises as well local hops and finished off with aging it in a plethora of oak chips. When the finished product rolls out it is 12% alcohol by volume and it's not always available, so make you stock up on it while you can.

This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a subtle hazy burnt brown color with some sedimentary flaky looking particles. Quickly dissipating head. Rimmed lace running here and there.
The smell had some honey, sweet, somewhat strong, invasive sweet cherries, like oaky, dried grassy hops.
The taste was mainly sweet towards the honey and cherries. Tobacco slyly moves and cleans on up into the aftertaste with a quick finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Fair sessionability about it. Carbonation feels decent.
Overall, for the most part its a nice sessionable American styled strong ale, balanced and good. I’d have again.

Dark fruit, malt and hops in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, dark fruits and floral hops. The finish is toffee and raisins. Solid beer all around.

Sampled from an enormous 1l bottle @ Top Hops (BA) Bottle Share. This is cloudy and has a orange/brown color in the glass. Not to much of a head really, just a thin film sticking to the sides of the glass. The nose is nutty and yeasty with traces of both rye and wood. In the taste I get more nuts and yeast. It also has lots if spices going on actually. The only one I manage to identify is ginger and there are also some wet grass towards the finish. Actually quite a nice one, but that enormous bottle alone? Could be a challenge, but I'll give it a go.. 15.06.2013
