Bottle at Kolding ølmesse. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is extreme honey, flowers. Flavour is sweet, honey, citrus, heather. This is not one of my favourite beer.

75cl bottle. Pours golden with a fluffy stable white head. Honey, yeast & flowers all over. A lot of sweetness. Medium & soft palate. Whether you like the heavy honey notes or not you cant deny that this is a well made brew from Het anker (Ones again)! I prefer less though!

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with very strong notes of honey as well as a flowery note. The flavor is very sweet - too sweet for me - maybe it has to be cellared for a year or two? The flavor also contains notes of honey, before a dry bitter finish sets in.

Bottle, 75cl corked at Kolding Ølmesse. (The label actually saing "Best Easter Whishes") Pours an almost clear, golden body with a nice, white head. Very perfumed, and in my opinion, not too good aroma with flowers, heather and some honey. It’s cloyingly sweet in the mouth, still a bit better than the aroma, and also has honey, flowers, heather and a bitterness towards the end. Full-bodied, sweetish mouthfeel. There’s also a perfumed, flowery flavor in the finish. First I was a bit uncertain about this one, then I decided I don’t like it even though my rating isn’t that low. The main problem with the beer is that it’s low on drinkability. Rating: 4-4-5-4-10-2.7. 080229

Bottle, 75cl. A huge, dense, white head leaving nice lacings sits on top of a slightly hazy, golden body. The aroma is too flowery for my likings, but quite nice anyway. Honey in large amounts, a good dash of fruityness, some white sugar and a spicyness. A hint of cellar too. Full-bodied and quite effervescent, with lots of honey and flowers. Some fruityness, a hint of spices and bitterness, and some pleasantly warming alcohol. Some bitterness in the otherwise flowery finish, where also a hint of cellar chimes in. A beer that is quite nice, but it’s too focused on flowers to be drinkable. Ok with some food then. 101119

75 cL bottle, thanks to BelJohansen. Pours hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Very floral honey aroma, very dominant perfumed. Light floral, honey and caramel malt flavour with a nice mellow yeasty note. Lingering smooth finish. Too perfumed and heavy honey.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of BelJohansen. Actually spelled "Best Easter Whishes" on the label, but I suppose that’s a misspelling. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small, off-white head. Distinct flowery honey aroma. Medium body with an excessive carbonation. Sweet notes of honey and flowers. Hardly any bitterness in the finish. 110308
