Slightly hazy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel and fruit. Sweet caramel flavour with just enough bitterness. Decent enough beer, but a terrible maibock...

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of alcohol and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of alcohol and caramel. A very straight forward beer and hence a bit boring.

500ml bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen. (Almost) clear amber-brown body under a fragile layer. Light roasted caramel to the nose. Flavour brings plain malt, but also some late fruits and a touch of almond. Some alcohol in the endnotes. Very sweet palate (shared with Finn Arvid, 31.05.2008).

Bottle at ÅBF08. Caramelly aroma. Clear amber colour. Vinous flavour, tastes lagered, a bit too much for my taste.

Bottled. Clear pale amber, brief head. Coffeeish buttery malt aroma. Medium sweet with lots of chewy malt. Firm and well structured with dusty Einbecker-like urbock character. Finishes with balanced bitterness. I really like this kind of well made heller bocks where the malt is so defined!
