Draught at Cockney Pub, Århus
Cloudy amber color; creamy head. Some caramel aroma and flavor, strong bitterness; at first it has a pleasant honey flavor, that vanishes later. Drinkable.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin fast disappearing head. The aroma is sweet malty with a very weird phenolic note. The flavor is medicinal combined with notes of malt, phenol, butter, and fruit.

500 ml bottle. Amber body with a big, light beige head. A bit subdued hoppy aroma. Flavor is malt with a sharp bitterness, not particular aromatic. Finish is rather bitter as well. OK, but quite average, dry bitter ale.

Bottle. It pours an unclear, copper body, topped by a beige head. Slightly sour on the nose, piney and malty sweet, combining nice and boring. The flavor goes the same ways, also both boring and nice, but there’s a surprising touch of alcohol that I dislike. Medium, sweetish mouthfeel, and a short finish. Overall, it’s a nice beer, but it’s boring, and I don’t like the sour touch in the aroma, and the little alcohol bite in the mouth. (080314)

Bottled. Hazy reddish amber, dense head. Aroma of orange and raspebrry ice cream(!). Sweet and a bit thin with notes of paper and glue. Simplistic resiny hops takes over before it fades out into pine needle bitterness. Not nearly as good as their Majbock.
