Cask at Pigs Ear 2015, day 1 - London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly toasted grains in the aroma, some orange rind accents. Light-medium sweet, with good pale malt character, light English yeast presence, citrusy hops, bitter rind, orange and tangerine. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Light grassy bitterness on the finish, more toasted grains, citrus rind. Solid bitter.

Cask at Pigs Ear ’15, 01/12/15. Rich amber with a decent beige head. Nose is light berry fruit, background hop presence, toasted malt, bitter orange. Taste comprises light bread, rising spice, bread dough, mineral notes, biscuit, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with earthy hop bitterness. Solid winter spiced affair.

Cask (handpump) @ Marble Arch, Manchester M4, UK. Clear dark amber color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat. (180108)

Cask handpull at Westgate JDW Canterbury Xmas 2004. Typical Oakham tasste but bit darker and maltier than the others, but still has that distinctive citrus hoppy notes that I love so much
