Cask-conditioned at the Cheshire Cheese, Buxton 24 September 2021. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Easy drinking pale ale, with lightly, leafy, hops, a touch of stone fruit, sweetishmalts and gently bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at Sun, Stafford. Pours a lemon yellow with a small white head, good lacing and low carbonation. Not much of a nose – just vaguely lemon. In the mouth it has a watery texture with taste being mainly lemon with some summer fruits. Fniish is dry and has an underlying aura of peanut butter. Bland – apart from the horrid finish.

Cask @ Bod, Newport. Pours a slowly clearing bright straw yellow, white clerical collar balanced atop. Floral hop, buttery yeast, straw malt, light spring fruit sweetness. Good textbook golden ale served in great condition.
