Cask. Portland House, Sheffield. Pale gold. Soft haze. Thin, dense, lasting, white head. Grassy, lemon pip hop. Sweet grain. A tad sugary and worty. Taste is grassy bitter. More grain. Decent body for the ABV. Grassy bitterness on the finish. Ok. A bit worty.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 20th September 2015. Straw-coloured with thin loose foam and almost no lacing. Pungent yeasts and citric hop aroma. Grassy liquid with tart citrus and some floral fruitiness and nutty malts. Bittersweet finish with prominent malt and bitterness in the rear upper-mouth. Light bodied and refreshing.

On cask @ the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with a nice head. Nose - light lemon and yeast. Maybe some gentle cereal or hay. Taste - more of the same, citrus and freshness with a yeasty background. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy and light texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a solid citizen.

Gravity dispense at the Happy Man Spring BF, Englefield Green, 14/03/14. Pale golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is light citric, straw, faint orange. Taste carries a little more depth comprising lemon rind, orange, soft bread dough, straw, light melon. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so GB yawn ....

Cask at the White Star, Stoke-on-Trent. Yellow, almost straw. Lemon, Chardonnay and spicy hop aroma. Massive bitter flavour, which carries the hop character well. Malt also shines in the taste, which mellows nicely. A brilliant session bitter.
