Handpull cask at the Great Western, Wolverhampton. Copper and clear, with not much obvious carbonation. A tiny flurry of white head at the top. Honey, chestnut and grain aroma... the smell is very light so not a lot gets through. It’s got a lively little taste though: herbal sweet interspersed with and almost tannic bitter. Not a lot to it, but that’s the point: an easy-drinking session beer.
