This very pale straw coloured beer is brewed with wheat, has a gentle hop aroma and a dry finish. It makes a very enjoyable and refreshing all year round drink. Five time festival winner.

(Cask at John Augustus, Liverpool, 20 July 2009) Pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with tart hints of lemon and a slightly soapy wheat character. Fruity taste with notes of citrus, canned peaches, grass and some wheaty sweetness in the finish. Rather light body, fairly low bitterness. A decent and summery golden wheat ale.

Cask handpull at The Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool. Pale gold with thick off white head. Wheat in this I think (and there is). Creamy cereal and citrus aroma. Fairly standard English wheat citrus bitter. Some farty yeast. Cereal gives it body.
