Brewed with East Anglian Pale Ale, Chocolate and Amber malts and hopped with Boadicea and Chinook. Yuletide has a dry spicy finish and grapefruit bitterness. It’s a wonderful dark ruby winter warmer with a good balance of flavours and a lingering dryish after palate that keeps you coming back for more.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a dark (almost very dark) reddish-brown with a medium sized cream head. Mainly malts in the aroma, but also some hints of traditional hops, in the mouth it starts off slightly bitter with a creamy texture. Malts and spices are the main flavours plus hints of dark fruits and stewed apples. Later there are traces of cloves and cinnamon too. Finish is surprisingly sweet. This is quite decent – though a little bland.
