Cask at the Half Moon - 26/12/12 (Nadelik @ 4.6%). Clear chestnut brown with a thin bubbly off white head that clears to the edge and leaves a swirl atop the glass. Nose is malt forward, dark fruits, liqourice, spice. Taste comprises liqourice, dark malt, dark fruits, traces of marzipan, biscuit, spice. Medium bodied with soft carbonation with bitterness and spice in the finish. A decent spiced Xmas beer - one of the better ones !

Cask@The Duchess of Kent, Islington. Dark copper looks with a medium tan head .Slightly fragrant nose with dark fruit, sweet malt and muffled hop notes. Smooth, sweetish, perfumed flavour. Some bitterness towards the finish. Drinkable, but wasn’t mad keen on this.

Cask handpull at Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Chestnut colour, lasting beige head. I’m guessing its the end of the barrel as no real condition. Perfumed aroma. Soft in mouth. Perfumed bitter with no condition.
