Bottle from last Christmas’s gifts from my daughter. Nose is a bit of chocolate and caramel. Very dark reddish brown nearly opaque except for the edges with a heavy lacing beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet but malty.

Not bad for a Ridgeway novelty beer. Toasted nuts and caramel and a touch of chocolate with a gentle, slightly-spiced finish. Decent pint.

Bottiglia.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Pours a dark brown with small beige head Aroma of roasted malts, some chocolate, sweetness, spice. Taste is mainly sweet and roasted malts, dry and chalky middle, some powdered chocolate, fairly bitter. Body a little thin for the ABV. Below average porter but I still enjoyed it.

500 mL bottle picked up as a Cost Plus find. Figure this one is unique enough to give it a try at the low price point. I'd say it was worth it. Nice winter brew with a alarming feel without an excess booze level. Toasty malt character, bitter up front and throughout. A touch metallic on the late linger. Dark chocolate reminders on the palate. Pretty good brew.

500ml bottle from Cost Plus. This has gotten pricey. Bottle stamp: 025 167 ...whatever that means. Rare Vos glass @home. Red Santa bottle cap. Pretty cookie cascade over a clear, dark copper brew. Mild roast, slight coffee, very slight richness & slighter dank nose. Light roast, thin, cola, mild acid(maybe too acidic), toasted bark, marzipan & clay. Thin, okay. Oddly extra acidic.

Roast, maybe light nutmeg here? Dark brown/black pour with decent creamy head. Light bitter finish with a little cloying sourness. Bottle.
