(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Slightly hazy amber golden with a light, off-white head. Weak citrusy nose. Rather light in body with vague accents of citrus with a very limited maltiness. Dry, light bitter finish. 021107

From bottle, blind tasting at Papsoes - beer no 38. Pours hazy orange with a collapsing white head. Dry grapefruity and caramel sweet malty aroma. Flavour is dry bitter, citrus fruity and solid malty. Has a mild mix between malt and bitterhops. Ends dry hoppy.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear, golden beer with a small, off-white head. Hoppy, floral aroma with orange and some pine-cone notes, as well as some maltyness. Quite bitter in the mouth, with a good pineyness that lasts all the way, some sweetness and citrus. A touch of malt too. Medium to full body, quite smooth. Long finish. Relaxing beer, obviously inspired by the IPA’s of the States, but it could use a fuller body. On the other hand, it’s only 5% ABV. (070926)
