a complex, pink colored ale, with flavors of red and white grape and subtle wild yeast character, residual fruity sweetness is balanced by a hint of red wine tannins and tartness from its time in the barrel

2023 draught at the brewery, 3/11/25.
Rosy-hued brass-gold. Small, off-white ring of bubbles.
Brett and mild-to-moderate lacto with definite grape character. Seems pretty well-aged; nothing too aggressive jumping out. Nice and aromatic.
Heavy Brett in the flavor. It's got a bit carried away, and while it hasn't over-attenuated the beer, thankfully, it does get highly phenolic on the finish. Though the barrel tannin and malt still seem to soak up most of the acid. Like the malt depth here, just wish the Brett was a bit better behaved.
