Bottle. Dark brown color with a large, frothy / fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, dark chocolate, coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and nice dry finish. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Very nice but not a typical sweet stout. (261107)

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a little reddish hue and with a light brown and huge head. Roasted malt and slight peach fruity aroma. Flavour is a nice blend between slight fruity flavours and some mild chocolate malt smoothness. End is mild with a decent fruity note, some but not overly much bitterness.

On tap at the restaurant at the brewery. (6% ABV according to the barman.) Dark brown body, looks translucent, topped by a beige head. Quite burnt aroma, a bit one-dimentional I think. Burnt, slightly sour flavor with bitter chocolate. Definately the best part of the beer experience. Medium body. The finish has some bitterness, both from the malt and the hops. The beer is more quaffable than enjoyable, it is a bit one-dimentional. (070719)

Draft. A pitch black beer with a brown shine under a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, as well as light notes of chocolate. The flavor is sweet malty and rather roasted, which gives it a dryness, but also with notes of chocolate, and a touch of caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Draught, 6.0% at Frederikshavn ΓΈl- og vinfestival 07. Sweet and roasted aroma. Almost black colour, very small head. The flavour is mostly roasted, perhaps I get a little coffee, but otherwise a little boring. Could do with a little more alcohol.
