Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep copper with a slight gold hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma combines bread and earthy coffee with a hint of roast underlying. Flavor has earthy grain and coffee with a bit of bread backing.

Can - shouldn’t this be listed as a Vienna? - anyway - pours a cloudy copper - very spare lacing - doesn’t look that great - nose of nutty and toasty maltiness, some sweet and fruity coffee bean, light caramel - taste is medium bitter, with some sweet, toasted bread maltiness - the coffee is integrated decently into all of this, but there are also some notes of butter and some vegetal notes, as well - eh.
