Bottle. A clear, dark brown beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is fruity with a sour touch, but not in the usual infected Samsø way. Roasted, slightly sourish flavor with caramel maltyness. Rather weak and boring. Medium body. Caramel and roasted malt in the finish. Contrary to most Samsø beers I’ve had, this one lacks (fortunately) the heavy infection. It’s sure drinkable, but oh so boring. (080229)

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a very cloudy orangey golden with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with touches of roasted malt and some caramel. Medium body with lightly sweet, roasted malt and a vague, ashy edge. Almost no bitterness and quite drinkable actually. 150807
