This beer is a good example of a brewer knowing the strength of the hops he is using - very lean, clean malt bill, allowing the NZ hops to shine - earthy, peppery, minty character that eventually subsides and leaves behind a white wine grape quality - dryish malt base is just enough to give the hops something to ride across the palate on - pretty nice.
