Appearance: Golden color with a fine white head that leaves some lacing.
Aroma: Malty and citric hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a nice bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Slightly sweet malty, light fruity and a fine citric hoppy tail.
Overall impression: A pleasant and tasty ale.

Cask at the Walsall Beer Festival 2013. Goats Milk? I’m not sure too many goats would be proud of producing this! but maybe the brewery should be. It’s a malty hoppy strong bitter lager it has to be said, but its not so bad and quite refreshing. It was served warm from the cask, but it may have benefitted from being served a degree or two cooler.

Cask, gravity at the bar at Bromyard Folk Festival, 11.09.11 Pours gold with a filmy white head, it has to be said that this is in great nick. Touch of warm spice, possibly ginger, soft furry bitterness. Nice. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov13 3.3 Had this again on Cask, handpump at The Horse & Groom, Caulcott, Oxon, Sunday 1st July 2012 Golden in colour with a good clarity slim white head. Really pleasant golden beer, bit dry with nice fruitiness. Little sweetness cracking stuff. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours clear golden with a small off white head. Butter and vomit. Sweet and thin.

cask at gbbf 2011 ... golden yellow ... eggy sulpherious nose ... zezty lemon ... again eggy hop ... dull but mostly egg.

Cask @ 3 Judges. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is cooked vegetables. Flavour of cooked vegetables, some malts. Not very well.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2008. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Sweetish fruity malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a sweetish fruity hoppy citrus finish.

Cask Conditioned at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen
Hazy deep blond color. Very nice aroma, grassy, hoppy, light manure, country fields. It has a delicate malt and toffee flavor, with a moderate bitterness, not keeping up to expectations; correct bitterness; the final is a bit empty of emotions. For this alcohol strength, very good.

From cask at Lord Nelson. Pours almost clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Mild hoppy, citrusy and fruity hops aroma. Mild fruity and citrusy hops flavour with a light body and subdued sweetness. Ends dry and bitter.

Cask at GBBF08. OK fruit aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Good fruity aroma, a bit rough, slightly sweet. Good combination.
