Can from a friend - hazy dark amber - intense campfire smokiness in the nose - nearly on par in intensity to the best German examples - mildly sweet, but rich malt character of dark bread and light caramelized sugars - a slight acidity cuts the maltiness in the finish, allowing the smoke the settle on the palate long into the finish - really good!
