Can from the brewery - a nicely balanced and dry rendition of the style - the roasted malt plays well off the more woody notes of the hops - the more citric hops take over the finish and cleanse the malt richness away, leaving a lingering dry bitterness on the palate - nice to see such a “throwback” thrust into the current market of fruited “milkshake” ipas and “slush” quick sours.
