Straw coloured ale with an entrancing citrus aroma and a lovely dry, lip-smacking grapefruit taste. Great for a chilled moment.

(Cask at Gallow’s Bird Real Ale Festival ’15) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had green apples, malts, toffee and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, earth, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A bit harsh pale ale.

Pours clear golden orange with a smooth head. Aroma of fruits, citrus, pine and hints of juicy notes. Taste is smooth, fruity and juicy with hints of citrus and pine. Finish is crisp, bitter and smooth with hints of citrus and pine. Okay.

Cask @ Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2015 Aroma has apricot, minerals and some floral tones. Flavour has strong mineral tones, mint, some apricot and some gooseberry bush. Too much mint here. Does not feel very American.

Gravity dispense at the Happy Man Autumn BF, Englefield Green, 11/10/13. Clear golden with a thin off white head. Nose is toasty malt, citurs, orange, a little subdued. Taste carries more depth, orange pith, toasty malts, lemon rind. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. Not enough hop presence for an APA - good old golden blonde in my book, an average to drinkable one at that.

Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a stupidly tight, white cream head. Pleasant though mild aroma, pale malts, light dried citrus and lemon in particular, some hay. Light sweet flavor, lightl citrus fruits, mellow bitterness, straw, lots of tasty, dried pale malts.ight bodied with fine carbonation. Clean, lightly dry finish, some dirty hay, nips of tangerine. Very nicely balanced APA.

Fruity aroma in a healthy golden ale with a thick creamy head. Is hopped based and those used give it a heavy texture. Fruit flavours.
