Bomber purchased to-go from the brewpub - cloudy ruby pour, soapy lace - nose of toffee, raisin, fig, with a touch of sour cherry and yeasty/doughy character - faintly acidic and tart up front, with a bit of earthy cherry flavor - moderately estery - fairly sweet flavors of caramel and treacle follow shortly after, along with some raisin, date, a dash of spice - finishes with alcohol warmth and a bread pudding kind of flavor - a bit yeasty, but a decent beer.
