This is a lovely golden ale with a good, hoppy, citrus taste.

Bottle, last batch of backlog ratings then I'm done. Bought whilst on holiday in Devon. Poured golden with an off-white head. Aroma of hops, straw, malt, light caramel and flowers. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slight watery texture, soft carbonation.

500ml bottle conditioned; BBE June 2020. Poured slowly into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 27th June 2019. Dull old gold in colour, slight haze; full off-white crown on top. Yeasty 'home brew' sort of aroma, taste also yeast forward in the flavours; some fruitiness and bitterness also to the fore. Got better and better as the 'home brew' initial thoughts got overthrown in my head.

On cask at Henry’s Bar, Paignton, Devon. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - toffee and red fruits. Taste - toffee and jam hybrid. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry tangy finish. Overall - would consider this more of a bitter or English pale ale than a golden ale.
