Half pint, hand pulled cask ale at Wellington, shared with Finn. Crocheted lacing from a stable filmy layer. Bright golden body. Moderate aroma of mid-sweet malts and dried fruits. Jam-like flavours of peaches, dried fruits and mild malty sweetness. Rounded bitter tail. Medium bodied. Drinks very well (Birmingham 21.09.2016).

Cask @ Cask, Manchester. Golden with a small yellow glow to it, and a creamy head. Hoppy with a high grapefruit citrus aroma, but a lesser taste in this respect. Very sippable.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Gold with lasting beige head. Yes, it’s got a lot of very tasty hop, but it is also full of diacetyl. I keep having these beers because Gazza raves about the brewery, but this has too much diacetyl. Otherwise good.
