Straw blond colour. Aroma is malty but also has a smell of old milk. Has a lemony, citrus flavour but with a lactic feel.

(Cask at Gallows Real Ale Festival 2011) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma was sweet and fruity. Palate was medium bodied. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, grain, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and hoppy. Pleasantly hoppy brew.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours semi-clear yellow with a strong, foamy white head. Mostly hoppy aroma of straw and light cereal. Fairly sweet with some easy bread and straw, hay bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry, earth and straw hop finish, with some modest malty sweetness. Nothing wrong here.
