Bottle at home in London - sourced from the London Brewers’ Market. Pours mostly clear, deep amber-brown with a massive, rocky mocha head that sticks around for days. The nose has lots of grainy bread, some toast, suggestions of rye spice, tangy berries, ripe and rindy citrus. Light to medium sweet flavor with hefty toasted grain and oily pine character, some ripe orange, leathery berries, earth, hints of dry toffee. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Resinous on the finish with further toasted grains, berries, gooey pine, impressions of cocoa and some burnt leaves. Quite a robust number. Pretty enjoyable.
