(Cask at Edgar Wallace, Strand, London, 26 Nov 2010) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, apricots and fresh floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, citrus, biscuity malt with hints of sweetness and a fresh, citrussy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with some sweetness. Refreshing, tasty and highly drinkable. Nice one.

Spoons Fest! But a not a fest beer! Clear red-brown beer. Residual suddy white head. Low carbonation but manages to be crisp and a little dry. A bit off the beaten track this beer. The malt is mildly dark and with traces of nuts and chocolate. Vibrant peach and orange come bursting through with whispers of lemon and bubblegum. I could swear there was some rye in this as well - gentle spice. Semi crisp finish. Well joined up, different and tasty!

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. GOlden amber with a dense cream head; fruity, malty aroma - bramble perhaps; some fruity flavour but an immediate hit of hops giving a fresh leafy bitterness, with a touch of pepper to the finish.

Cask@Pullman, Helsinki. Bitter, fruity, odd smell, not sure if this is contaminated, or if is the glass was dirty.

Cask handpump at The Thomas Beckett, Canterbury. Copper thin beige head. OK condition. It’s a decent bitter, good malts and hop, don’t get me wrong, but I’ve drunk excellent beer all day. Decent bitter, some white pepper hop

Hand-pulled cask at The Mid West England Bar at GBBF. Pours an one-finger, off-white head leaving fragile laceworks on my third pint glass. Hazy, dark-brown body. Moderate aroma of sweet, dark fruits. Taste is mostly similar, perhaps added a spicy bite. Quite well bodied for its alcohol strength (08.08.2008).

Cask (handpump) @ Beer Engine, CV1, Coventry. Clear medium yellow / orange color with a small creamy, fair lacing, mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, roasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, flowers, orange, elderflower ! Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light metallic.
