Originally a Summer seasonal.

Sunchaser blonde is a thirst-quenching beer made in the style of a continental lager. Hence you will find subtle fruit flavours and a little sweetness within.

Developed as a thirst quenching beer, perfect for those warm summer evenings. Overtones of a delicate spice and peppery nature, complementing the main palate features of rounded sweetness, with hints of peach and lychees.

Ingredients: Lager malt; Hallertau hops - dry hopped with Saaz hops.

Cask at The Crown, Charlton-On-Otmoor, Oxon, 05-08-07 Poured light golden, nice delicate floral aroma, lovely initial burst of vanilla and floral hops that subsided to a sweet but still quite crisp and refreshing bitter.

Cask conditioned at The Lord Rosebery, Scarborough, as Everards Sunchaser Blonde. My notes of the ABV say 4.0%. Very pale blonde colour, moderate head, nice lacing. Moderate lemony aroma. Very light bodied, thin mouthfeel. Very moderate lemony flavour, slightly acidic.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale straw in colour with a white head; vegetative aroma; delicate flavours, with some honey, citrus and elderflower, follwed by some fruit; and then a dry and chalky finish. Rather thin, without being watery.

Cask@King’s Head, Bayswater, London. Golden color, not much head. Flowery hoppy nose (trefoil). Very flowery flavor too. Bitter aftertaste. Nothing special but refreshing enough for a hot summer day.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] An orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is light, what is there is sweet hoppy. The flavor is of diacethyl and oranges. A boring beer.
