Originally brewed for the brewery's launch in 1994, Coaster was named after a style of boat which on occasion can be seen plying its trade near our home at Rock on Cornwall's rugged North Atlantic coast. Brewed to 3.6% ABV but with a generous measure of flavour and light golden hue, Cornish Coaster is both moreish and refreshing and the perfect beer to quench the thirst on a hot summers day.

Cask @ The Albert, Hebden Bridge. Clear golden with a small creamy head. Session bitter with a low to medium bitterness. Not that malty with a palatable enough texture.

Light sweet flavor, simple bready sugars, a little hay. Light bodied with fine and very creamy carbonation. Fair condition. Mild bitterness to finish with some white bread, hay, faint crunchy leaves. Cask at the Half Moon, Windlesham - 09/08/12. Light orange with a small white head. Light citrusy hop on the nose and a pinch of malt. Similar taste to nose with a little biscuit. Thin in body bitter dry mouth feel on the finish. Drinkable, I prefer it to Doom Bar, but nothing exciting.

Also sold as "Sharp’s Anglers Tackle" at The Anglers, Walton-on-Thames. __ Copper colour. Aroma has some nice honey notes and a hint of hop. Flavour has a pleasant sweetness but remains quite fresh. Nice hop balance.
