Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. DArk brown colour. Heavy malty aroma with smoke and coffee notes. Moderate bitter flavor and still coffee/chocolate notes. Creamy palate. OK beer from Samsø maybe one of the best (but that doesnt make it a great ber!!!!!)

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage (as Ballebjerg Stout). Very dark brown, no head. Aroma of coffee and molasses. Swet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Somewhat woody and medicinal. I ger more molasses than liquorice. Medium bitterness.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt, licorice, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of chocolate and straw, but also light notes of licorice.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy black with a small, beige head. Distinct aroma of coffee. Medium body with notes of burned malt. Distinct coffee flavours but no real traces of the licorice. Has an underlying tartness. A light bitterness from the malts. I believe this brewer should stick to his black beers. 220207
