Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours thick black-brown with a lingering beige cream head. Balanced roasted malt aroma with touchs of toasted coconut and chocolate. Medium sweet flavor with understated roast, slight coconut oil, lightly bitter chocolate, mellow char and earth. Medium bodied with fine to average, massaging carbonation. Creamy chocolate finish with background coconut, more understated roast. Exceptional. Subdued but deep.
