As Fjordens Dark. Clear dark brown without head. Aroma is sweet and roasted malt. Flavor is rather sweet and light acidic. Finish is light acidic. There is almost no bitterness or carbonation, and I’m guessing it’s not supposed to be acidic. At the time of drinking I thought this might be infected, but when I had another Fjordens two days later there was no doubt anymore. Why do they sell infected beer? They give craft beers a bad name. 160810

Bottle at Kolding Ølmesse, as Fjordens Dark. Pours a clear, brown body with an off-white head. Caramel-sweetness and a little fruityness in the aroma. The same goes for the flavor, and it finishes with some chocolate notes. Medium body. Decent beer, but failing to impress. I have a hard time understanding how they can sell it at the price they are charging, but of couse I’m not letting the price issue be a part of my rating. (080229)
