The distinct flavors of Centennial and Cascade hops help this classic pale ale to strike the perfect balance between hoppy and refreshing for the summertime. In addition to a signature citrus and piney character, these hops also deliver notes of white peach and melon. These light, fruity accents, coupled with a mild malt sweetness and clean finish, give this beer balance and a unique flavor that'll quench your thirst and satisfy your taste buds.

Bottle: Cloudy pale yellow with a foamy, bright white head. Lemon/grapefruit scent. Taste is mild pine and citrus-peel. A pretty nice, easy-going pale ale....bright and clean.... Nothing amazing, but solid.

Bottle from the mixed case at Bj's Mostly clear light golden color with a decent bubbly white head. Sweet bready and faint caramel maltiness beneath some light citrus and pine. Not horribly exciting but nothing objectionable either.

Poor aroma, appearance typical. Taste is basic and doesn’t offer anything in way of complexity for the palate. It’s an alright beer but I probably won’t have it again.

Not a bad pale ale, just subdued, with a respectable floral bitterness and mild citrus notes balanced by a sturdy cracker malt base. Pours a pretty gold with a massive white head and shocking amounts of lace. Perky, medium-bodied texture is right for the style. Forgettable, but better than the other ratings suggest.

From May 2007

Thanks to jwc215 for this brew!

This pours from 12oz bottle(best by Aug 07) a clear amber gold with a very large head of foam that shrinks to a pretty solid layer with lacing and it lasts right to the end of the session.

The smell is on the light side; I can just smell some hop presence.

The taste has an earthy flavour up front followed by some sweet malt and some citrus hops midway through and through the finish but they are lightly done. Too lightly done for me, darn it.

Tap @brewery as "Pale Ale with Cascade hops"
Clear golden color, good off-white head. Piney, malty aroma. Light to medium bodied. Pale malty, clean palate. Light piney-citrusy finish. Balanced.
