Dry-hopped sour ale by Verzet in collaboration with Surly, tasted from tap at Foeders in Amsterdam. Medium thick, off-white, bit moussy, quickly opening head, hazy straw blonde colour with slight peachy hue. Aroma of grapefruit lemonade, soap, white cabbage, salted lemon flesh, sourdough, rhubarb, green apple, dough. Mildly acidic flavour, green gooseberries and hard unripe pineapple, hint of raw rhubarb, fizzy carbo, bready and soapy middle while the soft sourness keeps drying the palate, evolving into an even more dry, bit spicy and softly grapefruity finish, though not explicitly hop bitter. A bit too soapy for me but as a dry-hopped Berliner Weisse of sorts, this works fine and does have a pleasantly refreshing effect.

On tap. Pours an orange amber with light head. Aromas of lemon zest, pineapple, wheat and something like coriander. Flavors of dull lemon, apples, grapes and malted wheat. Almost like a sour witbier. Refreshing.
