Bottled (BB 10/2007)
Almost black opaque clor, small firm beige head, some lace. Grainy-papery and roasted aroma. Sourish flavor, some grainy notes, light roasty malty flavors. Ash and tobacco present. Propably a bit out of date.

Bottle: deep ruby amber coloured, mid-sized, slowly collapsing tanned fluffy head; sweet roast-malty nose with a dicreet sourness; strong sweet-bitter, a bit sourish flavour; distinctive sweet and coffeeish, a bit roasted finish with some acidity in the aftertaste. Still a drinkable beer, could be even better without their "house-infection".......

On tap at Cph Beerfestival. Almost black, with a beige head. Served too cold. Quite roasted aroma, with some dark, bitter chocolate in it. Roasted, sour, dryish aroma with some chocolate and cocoa. Thin body and a dry, bitter and sour finish. Could use some more hops, I think. (060519)
