had it once cold........coudlnt taste much really, it was like bad wine.
had it once slightly warmer than room temperature, and wow! So many flavours come out! very spicy, notes of cinnamon, and cloves, and citrus, with a nice cherry punch and finish, very nice stuff.

From old tasting notes. Translucent brown color. Sour cherry aroma. Sweet and sour cherry malt flavor hints at spices. Although it is recommended to heat to 100 degrees, it is quite tasty served at 50 degrees. Very unique and flavorful.

Bouteille 750ml, 2009, bottle share. Un gros merci Tommy! Couleur cuivré foncée voilée, aucune mousse. Arôme de cerise, cannelle, malt. Goût de cerise, cannelle, sucré, madère. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen-dense.

Bottle. Tart black cherry and molasses malt aroma. Dark orange-brown with small head. Sweet black cherry, cinnamon, and caramel malt flavor. Mildly bitter herbal finish. Supposed to be drunk hot but it’s 90 deg F (32 C) out so screw it.

Bottle - Vintage 2006 - Rich deep cherry with some dark sugar. Cloudy copper with a thin head. Thick and spicy, almost Worchester sauce, with light cherry notes. Interesting and rich.

Bottle. Pours a reddish color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy cherry aroma. Sweetish malty spicy fruity cherry flavor. Has a fruity sweetish malty spicy cherry finish.

Bouteille 750ml (2002). De couleur ambrée-rouge et voilée. DÉGUSTATION FROIDE : Nez de cerises sûres, d’épices (cannelle, clou de girofle) et très léger d’alcool. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen ainsi qu’une texture aux notes sirupeuses. Goût fruité (sirop de cerises, notes de cerises sûres) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un petit goût épicé (cannelle, notes de clou de girofle) puis en finale l’on retrouve des traces boisées et de vanille. Post-goût moyen, très légèrement sûr de fruits (cerises sûres) avec des petites notes épicées. DÉGUSTATION CHAUFFÉE : Nez fruité (cerises sûres, notes de cerises sucrées) et assez épicé (surtout de cannelle, léger de clou de girofle, traces de muscade) englobé dans des vapeurs d’alcool. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-doux ainsi qu’une texture moyennement sirupeuse. Goût fruité (cerises sûres, léger de cerises sucrées) avec un goût épicé piquant (cannelle, léger de clou de girofle, notes de muscade) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi rapidement d’une légère chaleur d’alcool avec des notes de sirop de cerises puis en finale l’on retrouve de faibles notes boisées. Post-goût moyen-long, composé d’un goût fruité aux notes sûres (cerises) et d’épices. (2005). Rating basé selon ma dégustation chauffée, comme indiqué.
