Forgotten backlog. A fine, classic old school IPA. A solid malt base with hint of caramel in combination with refreshing, citric fruity hops, some resin and pleasant, decent bitterness. I'm normally sceptical to LITE versions, but this one is surprisingly close to the regular IPA from nøgne, of course difficult to compare without having them side by side, but this one ticks off all blocks for a nice, classic IPA the way Nøgne use to do them from the very start.

Goldeny orange colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some nectary and some mild toffee tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, nectary and some mild resin tones to it. Mild sweet grains as well.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 7%, IBU 40. Clear deep golden to amber colour, huge white head. Aroma of citric and piney hops. The flavour has some caramel malts, distinct grapefruity and resinous hops.

500ml bottle, batch 2923, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Almost clear, warm golden body under a fair white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Quite inviting aromas of herbal hops and forest. Fine blended taste of ripe fruits, biscuits, and cereal malts. Rounded ending with late arrival of herbal hop bitterness. Well bodied. Good drinking on a Friday eve, slightly unvaried though. 0,5 flaske fra Statens postordrekatalog, hjemme etter ha satt brygg 4/25: nesten helt klar kobbergylden med utmerket skum som varer. Urter, barskog, florale toner, citrus og litt karamell. Ganske slank maltkropp, så avslutningen blir litt for bitter synes jeg. Klassikeren deres er nok fortsatt mitt førstevalg.
