330ml bottle into schooner glass. Very dark brown/red beer with thin tan-coloured head. Iced coffee nose, Full of sweet malt and dry cocoa. Fruity. dry, and sweet. Light body, easy drinking. Finish is lingering sweet fruit cake with a touch of coffee. Not bad. perfectly drinkable.

Pours black with a small fading light tan head.Nose shows enticing dark chocolate, toffee, caramel and roasted malt. Nice stuff!Very similar flavours but more of an emphasis on the roasted malt. Very mild finish with a soft roasty bitterness.Carbonation is a little high really, body a little watery. Could use some extra malt.

50cl Bottle, gift from a collegue who visited N-Z. Thanks Gijs! Black beer with a creamy tan to beige head. Odd salty aroma with strong notes of tar, burnt malts and seaweed. Not very pleasant, but it does give this beer an extra edge. Flavour is tar, burnt malts, slight sweetness, some salt/seaweed, some coffee powder. Roasted bitterness underneath from start to finish. Medium to fullbodied. Very nice porter.
