Bottle - Coffee and leafy hops. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bright leafy hops and bitterness with the coffee following up. Interesting and really well done, the unique hops and coffee both hold the same weight and balance. A style I don’t understand but this beer is helping.

Keg at the brewery, 10/23/14. Pours a clear copper with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of coffee, brown sugar, mild hops. The taste is bitter coffee, roasted malt, bitter hops, brown sugar in the finish. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

Draft at the source. Poured a medium-dark, clear golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma was mostly cold-pressed coffee, some residual resin notes, pine, but coffee all the way. The look of this does not convey the idea that there is coffee aromas or flavors in this - so congrats on creating a deceptive looking beer. Nice light sweetness, a touch of roast coffee, not overpowering for someone who likes the occasional hipster coffee. It’s okay, but the selling point here is really the aroma.
