0,5 l bottle. Pours out in a clear brown. More than one finger beige foamy head. Shy hopy smell with some hay. Taste is malty, some hopy elements in the middle part. Caramell sweetness. Hints of herbs. Also smooth fresh hopy in the aftertaste. Nice.

Bottle. Color: Clear amber, off white head. Taste: Light roasted malt, medium sweet, caramel. I like the way the hopbitter notes seem to pop up in the back of your mouth. But overall this beer is a bit dull. Not a bad brown ale, but just a bit too flat to be a top beer.

From bottle on board Fridtjofen 09.04.17. Clear dark chestnut. Small off-white head. Inviting and well-balanced taste of medium dark malt, syrup, brittle and European hops. Excellent drinkability.

50cl bottle from Fine Food, Kastrup Airport (CPH). Pours clear copper to caramel brown with a modest, but lasting off-white head. Malty and moderate caramelly with some wooden notes, hints of american hops, fruits and sirup. Medium sweet, but rather balanced with mild, but fairly pleasant flavours and a light bitterness. Not really to much to write home about, but an easy drinkable ale with some slightly interesting notes. --- Beer merged from original tick of BøgeBryg on 04 Oct 2016 at 18:54 - Score: 6.
