500ml can.......well this doesn’t smell like much. very faint aroma of grains, and malt. and a background aroma of alcohol. Flavour is sweet, and slightly malty, with an alcohol aftertaste. This is really not very good. Drain pour.

Canned. Reddish ambery brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is nutty, toffee, some mild metallic notes as well as some sweet maltiness to it. Flavour is much the same along with chocolate and some caramel malts and mild wood in the finish.

Canette 500ml.

Originally rated March 2005. This Danish bock pours a deep brown colour, like cola, with some red highlights. The head is small, but creamy and bubbly, with some light lacing. The nose is mostly made of roasted malts and with some mild sweetness. The taste is quite good, slighty sweet, but mostly smoky. Dry finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Does not give you that warming effect, and it’s a 7.7% ABV. Alcohol very well hidden. Not an all-over awesome brew, but still very nice, from time to time.

The Beer Store ($3ish): Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is pretty straightforward bock. Got the dark fruits and a good amount of sugar and malt. Tastes somewhat sweet. The high alcohol is fortunately well covered (unlike in some other cheap bocks). Drinkable and easily chuggable. This is by no means a bad beer.

Can. Reddish brown clear apperance, off-white spongy small head, faint fruity aroma, fruity flavored, sweetish taste, abrupt finish. Passable.

12/11/11/12/11/12

(can, courtesy of Papsoe) Clear, dark brown colour with a light-brown medium-sized foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with caramel and a touch of cardboard. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Dark malty, slightly nutty taste with notes of caramel; moderately sweet and mildly bitter finish with a slightly papery malt-character. Drinkable, otherwise rather undemanding. 31.X.07

03/11 0.5 l can courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! New style for me. Poured reddish brown body with medium sized beige head. Coffee, some roasted sugar and notes of alcohol in its aroma. Fake. Sweet industrial malty flavor, with first sip or two being really nasty. Bittersour coffee hiding the alcohol partially, but not enough and not pleasant. Sweetish finish help the beer to be drinkable and at some point after drinking even enjoyable. But, it’s crap anyway.

Canned(500ml). -trade with faroeviking (thanks Jacob).
Reddish/brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, alcoholic nose. Sweet malty, alcohol and coffee taste but surprisingly unoffensive for Faxe. Drinkable.
