50 cL bottle. Pours hazy deep orange to amber with a lacing tan head. Aroma is dense hoppy of fresh hops with a lurking sweetness beneath. Flavour is sharp bitterness/acidic from the hops with a rather thin caramel malt body to counter balance this. A bit too overhopped for my liking but still a fine brew. Lingering dry and bitter flavour of loads of american aroma hops flavours.

Bottle. (9% ABV)Pours a slightly hazy copper body with a medium-sized beige head on top. The hops dominates the aroma with lots of citrus and pine, along with resin, grapefruity and a heavy, sweetish maltyness and some caramel, making it a quite balanced beer despite the generous hopping. In the mouth it’s quite sticky yet pleasantly effervescent, with hoppy flavors like grapefruit, pine cones and resin. The large amounts of malt leaves a hint of beefstock and caramel, and has enough sweetness to tackle the hops. There’s a little stinging bitterness-feeling as well. Finishwise it goes on for a long while, with the hops doing most of the job, but also the malt sugars lasts for a while. The 10% ABV is well hidden, but there’s some warmth in it. Sure not a beer that scores high for drinkability, but it’s a beer that can, and should, be enjoyed slowly, preferably with some snack or cheese I think. (080224)

(Bottle, Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 4 Aug) Dark amber colour with ruby hints, frothy beige head. Fruity, very hoppy nose with heavy aromas of grapefruit and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with heavy, sweetish notes of grapefruit, pine needles and resin. Long, bitter, citrussy finish. Medium to full body, smooth mouthfeel, fairly sweet. Massive hop character without being overly aggressive. Stunning beer, this brewery keeps coming with impressive stuff.

Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen
Cloudy light amber color. Nice hoppy aroma; the grassy touch suggests English hops, but with some fruitness as well. Medium body structure, oily, but it could be more malty; strong bitterness with very good hop aroma and resins.

[bottle 9% ABV] Hazy copper colour, very little head. Lots of hops and malt on the nose. Thick, oily mouth feel. Not much carbonation. Flavour is sweet malt and loads of resinous, bitter hops with notes of allspice. The bitterness stay in the mouth "forever".

Bottle courtesy of thewolf: Poured a deep cloudy amber color ale with a small foamy head with limited retention and some lacing. Aroma of hops is not as strong as I would have expected for an imperial IPA. Taste is slightly bitter with some medium notes of citrusy and piney hops with a rather low level of caramel malt. Body is full with limited filtration which I enjoyed with some low carbonation. This one was definitely missing some character for an IIPA.
